Support for Whakamaua: Māori Health Action Plan

Ministry of Health

FrankAdvice worked with the Māori Health Directorate to support the development of Whakamaua: Māori Health Action Plan in accordance with He Korowai Oranga: the Māori Health Strategy. The Māori Health Directorate needed the skills to communicate the aims and investment value of Whakamaua: Māori Health Action plan to achieve the government’s wellbeing priority.

We supported the directorate to present complex information, strategy, evidence and data in an accessible and compelling way. The project involved an analysis of relevant literature and statistics. This analysis was then used to inform a system level narrative.

The next stage was to synthesise this narrative into compelling visual representations of a system theory of change and investment logic.

FrankAdvice delivered high-quality publishable products for the Directorate to effectively communicate the Whakamaua: Māori Health Action Plan. The published Action Plan can be found here – https://www.health.govt.nz/publication/whakamaua-maori-health-action-plan-2020-2025
